EMMANUEL HOCQUARD – This Story is Mine
Emmanuel Hocquard of France, in the forefront of that country’s poetry, has published Aerea dans les forêts de Manhattan, Théorie des Tables, and Un test de solitude. The translator, Norma Cole of Canada, a longtime resident of the United States, is also a poet: The Vulgar Tongue, Spinoza in Her Youth, Desire Its Double, Contrafact, MOIRA, and Mars.

Leon Rooke of Canada is the author of several novels and collections of short stories including Sing Me No Love Songs, The Broad Back of the Angel, A Bolt of White Cloth, Fat Women, Shakespeare’s Dog, The Good Baby, Oh!‹Twenty-seven Stories, and Who Goes There. His new novel, The Fall of Gravity, will appear in September.
PABLO NERUDA – Five Poems
Pablo Neruda of of Chile was awarded the World Peace Prize (with Paul Robson and Pablo Picasso in Moscow in 1950), and the 1971 Nobel Prize. He is most widely known in English for The Heights of Macchu Picchu, We Are Many, Twenty Love Poems and a Song of Despair and 100 Love Sonnets. Don Summerhayes of Canada, the translator and author of the novel Mystory, will publish his own Selected Poems in the Fall.

Susan Perly of Canada, with an excerpt from her completed novel, Love Street, is publishing for the first time.
DANIEL DAVID MOSES – Six Poems
Daniel David Moses of Canada, a registered Delaware, is a poet and dramatist. His volumes of poetry are: Delicate Bodies and The white Line. His plays include: Almighty Voice and His Wife, Big Buck City, The Moon and Dead Indians, Angel of the Medicine Show and The Dreaming Beauty. A new book of poetry will appear in September.
GEORGE MURRAY – Carousel
George Murray of Canada has published fiction and poetry in Prism, Prairie Fire, Fiddlehead and Antigonish Review. His first book of poems, Carousel: a Book of Second Thoughts, will be published this Spring.
