ATHOL FUGARD - A Lesson from Aloes
Athol Fugard of South Africa is a dramatist whose works include: Hello and Goodbye, Boesman and Lena, People Are Living There, and The Bloodknot. A Lesson from Aloes had is world premier outside South Africa in Montreal, performed by the Centaur Theatre Company, from January 1 to 27, 1980, with Anne Butler as Gladys, Maurice Podbrey as Piet and Alex Diakun as Steve. The play was directed by Athol Fugard.
